Roz was born in England and immigrated to Canada with her parents and three siblings when she was quite young. Her father proudly served with the Royal Navy in England as well as the Royal Canadian Navy as a submariner and then worked for the provincial government. Her mother was a nurse in burn units in London, a full time mother and eventually a librarian at the Dartmouth regional library prior to her retirement. Both of Roz's brothers served in the Canadian Military for a number of years as well as Roz who worked in the summer reserves which was a very good experience for an 18 year old girl. She has a very special sister who was born with many challenges. She is the person who taught this Prince family the most! Her family in England lost quite a number of their members during the first and second world wars (others wars as well) and one of her most memorable experiences in life was visiting a memorial where there were numbers of Prince men whose names were forever etched to remind of us the sacrifices they made for future generations. It was unbelievably emotional. The women behind the scenes are always remembered as well as they are often forgotten. Roz has traveled to Juneau Beach in France which was absolutely fascinating and again brought some reality to the losses which have been incurred and which we still incur worldwide due to war. Her upbringing has given Roz a strong sense of responsibility to others and the idea that we want to treat others as we would ourselves; with respect and sincerity. Roz is extremely proud to be a Canadian and British and has a love for both cultures. Roz, from the age of 4 years old grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and loves living here. She has traveled to quite a number of other countries outside of North America and truly appreciates what Canada has to offer. We live in the best country in the world and the Halifax area is one of the prettiest and friendliest she has ever encountered. We have no idea how fortunate we are to live in such a wonderful area of the world. She has always been active in fitness activities such as skiing, gardening and walking as well as having a love for music playing the flute when she has time for fun. She loves reading and learning which have helped her tremendously in her career. In 1984, Roz entered real estate at the young age of 20. Since then, she has worked diligently to become one of Metro’s leading real estate agents both in terms of marketing as well as service.
